Hey Joel! I appreciate the thoughtful response. I am currently reading “Breathe…” and am still early on, so I haven’t formed an opinion on his research yet.
As far as the McKeown study goes, I am quite sure there are flaws, as you’re right the population sample was very small. But I wasn’t aware of the misrepresentation of the study design, so I will look further into that.
My n=1 study has proved it to be a useful training tool — and I’ve seen improvements with my personal training clients.
